A Swinging Success - Dubai Heights Academy Chosen as a Pilot School for DP World Golf Week

Dubai Heights Academy is proud to have been chosen as the pilot school for DP World Golf Week in collaboration with The Tommy Fleetwood Academy (TFA) at Jumeirah Golf Estates. During the first week of May, there was a huge buzz on campus as students and staff were introduced to the purposely refurbished shipping container fitted with impressive features and state-of-the-art technology to accommodate for golf sessions all week long.

The event was a tremendous success, with students from Year 3 to 9 meeting the expert coaches from TFA who taught them various golf techniques, including swing mechanics, putting, and chipping; and shared their passion for the sport.

The highlight of the week was when we were invited to the academy at Jumeirah Golf Estates for an evening on the real golf course. This was a fantastic opportunity for the students to put their new skills into practice and experience the thrill of playing on a real golf course. Our students were thrilled about the opportunity and we hope that they continue to develop a love for golf, which is looking very likely to be offered as an ECA in the new academic year. We look forward to collaborating with The Tommy Fleetwood Academy and DP World in the future to provide our students at Dubai Heights Academy with even more opportunities to explore their interests and passions.
